| Descripción: | Introduction. Culturally preparing for motherhood focuses on pregnancy and proper in the stage of labor leaving aside the period that follows, however, postpartum should be seen as a step of great importance in the lives of women, since it is a period in which major changes not only physically, but emotionally occur. The aim of this study was to develop a proposal for the implementation of a postpartum care consultation attended by gynecological, obstetric and perinatal nursing. Method. a quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach was based. 20 women who, as an inclusion criterion, should have had a child in the last year was selected for convenience, to carry out an assessment of the need to develop consultation Postpartum attended by Nursing gynecoobstetric and Perinatal in the area health Coronado. From the application of a questionnaire the need for the implementation of postpartum consultation was assessed. Result. With regard to the implementation of a postpartum consultation attended by nurse obstetrician, all the participants responded that is useful both for her and for her baby and recommend it to other mothers attend the consultation. Regarding the recommendations made itself to improving the consultation, participants insist on the opening of postpartum consultation gynecoobstetric and perinatal nursing in morning schedule. Conclusion. Postpartum consultation by Nursing gynecoobstetric and Perinatal in the Health Area of Coronado is a necessity because it allows provide timely care to women in conciseness risk postpartum offers benefits such as ease of access and promptness in references between other.. |
