实物特征:Six methanolic extracts of: Albizia adinocephala (JDSm.) Britt. & Rose, Dalbergia brownei (Jacq.) Schinz, Diplotropis purpurea (Rich.) Amshoff, Machaerium sp., Macroptilium lathyroides (L) Urb. and Ormosia coccinea (Aubl.) Jacks, belonging to the family Fabaceae were evaluated fo using agar dilution method. Albizia adinocephala showed strong activity against wild type Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) (250 to 125 μg/mL, respectively), meanwhile Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis were inhibited at 500 μg/mL. Ormosia coccinea showed strong activity against Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus at 250 μg/mL, and moderate to strong activity against antibiotic resistant carbapenemase strains of Klebsiella p respectively). Machaerium sp. showed strong activity against Gram noteworthy activity against MRSA (1000 μg/mL). Diplotropis purpurea and Macroptilium lathyroides showed a greater antimicrobial activity against Klebsiella pneumoniae and Bacillus subtilis, respectively. Because of their ability to inhibit MRSA, Albizia adinocephala, Machaerium sp. and Ormosia coccinea, which are also active against KPC, are the most promising p characterization of bioactive principles.
