Description:Environmental education is a key instrument to achieve the great objectives necessary for sustainable development which proposes that people acquire knowledge about natural, cultural and social aspects and which contributes to solving environmental problems, while it relates human beings with their immediate surroundings: village, neighborhood, school, workplace, community, region, country and worldwide. Environmental education fosters a critical attitude change and responsible participation in environmental management and creates appropriate actions with the natural environment. It also encourages a commitment to contribute to social, cultural, politic and economic change from development.
