その他の書誌記述: | In inspecting the way social theories have been received in Latin America, this paper studies how Social Sciences have contributed to build a regional identity in Latin America. Three theories are the focus of this analysis based on French philosopher Jacques Ranciére's methodology: Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre's indigenismo, Cardoso's and Faletto's Dependence Theory, and Atilio Borón's critique to Hardt's and Negri's book Empire. My thesis is that concepts such as imperialism, dependency, center-periphery analysis, empire, and soon, have contributed in building a historical region known as Latin America. |
