その他の書誌記述: | The written history of Brazilian malacology began before the times of Carl Linne, with the works of Anchieta and Seba. Post-Linnean works are numerous and classified in three periods. Period I: Linne to the very early 20th century; voluminous publications resulting from expeditions, mainly European. The Brazilian authors limited themselves to popularization writings. Period II: Rest of 20th century until around 1950: first publications by scientists from South America and the USA. Period III: second half of the 20th century: Brazilian authors dominate malacological literature production, research teams become firmly established and malacological societies are established. |
