বিবরন: | In this academic article dedicated to the 53 years of physical death of the Turrialbeño poet Jorge Debravo, a literary critical study is presented on the poem “I do not offer you peace, brother man” (1994), which has not been analyzed in any academic document in charge of studying his life and work. This writing is a source worth studying. It carries a Debravian metaphor that has come to life over the years: man as brother or in other words, the request for union of Costa Ricans to work in harmony for peace and social justice. Also attached is an analysis of a recent poem created in dedication to Jorge Debravo: “Brother Jorge”, by Heco (2019), to support the inexhaustible survival of the Debravian figure through his poetry made God and the need to preserve their social criticim ideas over the years. |
