Popis:International standards governing the content found on the internet pages are designed to facilitate access to information to persons with disabilities. For example, there are accessibility guidelines for the Web 2.0 content, developed by the World Wide Consortium (W3C) and as part of the Web accessibility initiative. These guidelines promote accessibility, helping to make web page content more useful both for people with disabilities and for those who under other circumstances find difficulties in getting access to the web sites. This study aims to determine the level of accessibility that the web sites of the Costa Rican ministries offer to people with visual disabilities in our country, taking into account tools such as TAW; an instrument based on the Web content accessibility guidelines.
