Descripción:The purpose of this essay is to analyze the strategic planning of a teacher training project based on the use of educational technology or @-training in order to strengthen the processes of formation of higher education in a Mexican public institution. Breakthroughs in the use of information technology have enabled educational and operational benefits, such as lowering the costs of education, allowing more flexibility in time and space, increasing educational coverage, promoting self-learning and helping develop digital and collaborative skills of the participants, among others. The administration of @-training in the present essay is conceptualized as a process that, on the one hand, establishes a series of activities and the order in which they have to be accomplished with the aim of exploring the limitations and, on the other hand, achieves the results established in the several stages comprised in the life cycle of the project as a tool for the improvement of educational interventions and help to make more efficient the training processes, so the application of a project management methodology makes it easier to perform actions focused on meeting any training requirement in the same way in such a way that successes that emerged from previous projects may be repeated and risks may be avoided. New models of teachers training will be proposed according to the above mentioned perspective, under the e-learning and b-learning modalities.
