| Miêu tả: | This article describes the construction and development of an elemental local power structure in the canton of Tarrazú (population located on a colonization front southeast of the Costa Rican Central Valley) between 1871 and 1925. It is, first of all, characterize family alliances at the dawn of the colonization process, when migrants from the Central Valley recently occupied the land. On the other hand, it will be necessary to specify the mechanisms and strategies used to solve different needs that overwhelmed the different towns on issues such as communication channels and infrastructure construction. Finally, it concludes with the analysis of the different initiatives promoted in search of cantonal segregation. |
