The Argentine foreign policy and its linkage with the domestic influence in the twenty-first century

विवरण:The governments of Nestor Kirchner and Cristina Fernandez were highlighted by its growing distance from the United States, its approach to countries of the South American region and the bet on a new regional order, strengthen relationswith China and Russia, higher-profile participation in various international forums and its insistent claiming for Falkland Islands’ sovereignty. This article develops the characteristics of that international policy. It aims to describe the foreign policy of Frente para la Victoria’s govenments occurred between 2003 and 2015, with the intention to inscribe the politics mentioned above in a context marked by a series of economic and political internal transformations. It tries to acknowledge foreign policy from a historical perspective that allows to relate it with tensions and debates within the civil society, and therefore, with expression over the State.
