Описание:Human beings are animals, primates, in this nature; they share their behaviors and relationships with other primates. As a consequence, their study gives a key for comprehension of human societies. Evolution shaped the human brain with abilities that differentiate humans from other primates, such as prefrontal cortex development, language and the nature of human relations enabled the development of socio-cultural-cognitive niche, which favored group evolution processes, where particular characteristics of human societies lie. Thinking of higher education as a system allows teachers to incorporate this knowledge to their profession, so they take into account the complexity of the educational system and its participants. Reflexive practices allow the continuous improvement of teachers and appropriate decision-making in the context of education. In this essay, a theoretical body is presented around these issues to provide teachers with supportive information for new approaches to the higher education.
