Popis:After the Discovery of America in 1492, crops produced in these lands started a movement towards the West. In this writing some of the first contacted crops are mentioned, their propagation route and generalities about their original uses. There is special mention to the 17th Century, as it is during this time that most of the movement of pre-Columbian crops occurred. Dated information about grain crops, fruits, horticultural crops, roots and tubers, squash, spices, stimulants and narcotics, textiles, ornamentals, tintoreus, resins, utensils and medicinal crops.
