Teaching is an art that requires creativity and innovation, and where the formation of the individual is above knowledge. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the need to implement the new requirements in line with methodological strategies. For that purpose the experience developed in general studies courses UNA in which we have managed to implement some strategies that create meaningful learning contexts is exposed. ¿We conclude that take due care when incorporating strategies in the teaching-learning is critical because it not only encourages and motivates people involved in the process, but make the process less monotonous, boring , tax and indoctrinating
