Descripción:Agriculture faces different challenges, one of them is generated by phytopathogenic microorganisms, among these are mainly viruses, bacteria and fungi, which cause damage to the harvest. One of the causative agents of these problems is the cosmopolitan fungus Fusarium oxysporum, which affects a large number of crops, including plants of the Solanaceae family. Generally, the control of these pathogens depends on agrochemicals, which, although they eliminate the organism that causes the disease, generate other problems. Therefore, in this document a systematic search is carried out for different investigations that show a biological and sustainable alternative such as the essential oil of the Lippia graveolens plant, which according to the articles consulted contains different alcohols that at concentrations of 0.20 and 0,25 µl / ml, manages to inhibit the growth of Fusarium oxysporum by 100%, thus demonstrating its efficiency in the control of phytopathogenic diseases.
