Description:Thermoelectric materials (TE) are used for the generation of electrical energy when there is a temperature differential at their ends. Thermoelectricity is emerging as an alternative energy source, especially in situations where there are no other sources, such as outer space. This article presents the evaluation by means of finite-element numerical simulations of different thermoelectric semiconductor materials used in outer space.
