| Description: | The Biotechnology Research Center (CIB) of the School of Biology of the Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC) has 14 specialized laboratories and hosts more than 40 multidisciplinary research projects in Plant Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology Biomedical Applications, and Bioprocesses. The objective of CIB is to generate scientific-technological knowledge, training, and services, in the different areas of application of biotechnology, to contribute to national and regional development. In its 30th anniversary, CIB continues to generate science and technology in biological and life sciences topics, providing concrete solutions to different needs of the productive sector and general society in Costa Rica. |
