Descripción:The article examines how Information Technology (ITI) students at UTN, Guanacaste campus, use artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Gemini. Most review and adapt the results, demonstrating critical thinking, although some rely too heavily on them. It proposes promoting a conscious use in which AI complements, rather than replaces, critical thinking.
