Description: | The present study is the complement prepared in the middle of the pandemic, titled “Covid-19 Syndemic in Europe as of October 2021”, precisely one month before the discovery in South Africa of the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The results of the 48 countries in Europe indicate that although it is true: the Czech Republic, Russia, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany were the countries with the most absolute deaths associated with Covid-19, the application of the “Health Impact Index-Covid -19”, indicate that when applying the rates of confirmed cases/100,000 inhabitants, deaths/million inhabitants and the fatalities of SARS-CoV-2, the countries most impacted in terms of health were Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. |
