Diğer Bilgiler:This research analyzes and designs an antenna array using Groove Gap Waveguide (GGW) technology. This technology is studied as a suitable alternative for the development of the multiple scenarios that will emerge with the deployment of the sixth generation (6G) of mobile telephony. This approach is adopted due to the advantages offered by GGW to achieve greater efficiency in environments requiring improved availability in millimeter-wave (mmWave) bands. The approach provided by GGW enables wave transmission without the need for physical contact between conductive materials, resolving the issue of physical contact required in traditional waveguides. The conducted analysis enables the design of a 4 × 4 slot antenna array for satellite applications in the W band, with a maximum gain of 23 dBi, an approximate bandwidth of 1 GHz at the design frequency (94 GHz), and 94% efficiency when operating in this band. In other words, it can address challenges in future GGW-based antenna designs to achieve low losses and high power-handling capacity at high frequencies.
