Description:3D modeling and printing is a widely used technology. It can be used in different areas of the industry such as to print electronic devices such as sensors and electronic boards, implementations within the biomedical area to manufacture prostheses and parts of the human body for surgical preparation, or even within industries such as aeronautics and automotive. All of these applications and their importance within our society require us to place greater emphasis on the areas of stem education that involve these technologies. That is why it is considered vitally important to teach this relevant technology to young and creative people, who are still not sure which way to go in their university life, a workshop on these technologies can give them that boost they need to be able to take a decision and be motivated to innovate by creating designs in 3D modeling software and then prototyping in both software and 3D printing.
