An exploratory study based on a qualitative methodology was carried out. The narrative analysis technique was used. As the main results, it was found that sexual harassment in public spaces is a form of violence that causes significant damage to the subjectivity, organization of life and daily life of women. There is a risk of suffering sexual harassment in public spaces just for the fact of accessing them, however, some conditions further jeopardize the safety of the victims.
