Descrição:As part of the work that the University of Costa Rica performed in regional research: The archaeological potential in the South Pacific of Costa Rica, the authors, after locating several sites late, consider it necessary to characterize therefore unexplored condition study region required it. This site chose the Java (Cat.UCRN No. 490) located in the plane coordinates: 319 900 564 800 North Latitude and longitude, map sheet 3542 Coto Brus I, in the Canton of Buenos Aires, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica (cf. map No. 1). Near him, were located similar era sites: Juan Vega (UCR Cat. No. 495) and Jabillos (UCR Cat. No. 492) (Crf. map No. 1).
