Descripció:Introduction: This paper analyzes from a cuy(r) perspective the canonical transformations proposed by the production Un hombre muerto a puntapiés: a theatrical piece by Aarón Navia based on the short story by P. Palacio (Navia, 2017). Objective: Specifically, the text aims to explore intersections between Latin American decolonial aesthetic thought and sex-dissidence through a case study. Methods: Theatrical analysis techniques are applied to a narrative text, encouraging critical readings that diverge from hegemonic canons. The study investigates tensions between alternative modernities and cultural resistance within the framework of cannibal aesthetics, and examines the interdisciplinary interplay between philosophy and theater to expand the limits of representation. Results: The cuy(r) performativity of the text reveals fractures and subtleties that challenge normative visions, articulating dissident grammars linked to artistic processes and resistance practices. Conclusions: The theatrical performance brings visibility to a marginalized cuy(r) sensibility within Ecuadorian identity, challenging theatrical conventions and offering a socially critical perspective from a decentralized standpoint.
