| Miêu tả: | Entre 1887 y 1895, José Martí muestra una evolución rápida en su percepción de la mujer en la función pública. Pasa de un concepto bastante negativo a uno bastante positivo, inspirado en la propia capacidad demostrada por las mujeres en el ejercicio de cargos políticos. También, en cierto modo, anticipa un concepto actual de la teoría del género: no hay división tajante entre los espacios de lo público y lo privado, pues este último también es público y, por tanto, no es ajeno a la mujer.ABSTRACT Between 1887 and 1895, Jose Martí showed a fast evolution in his perception of women’s role in the public function. The evolution occurred from a quite negative concept to one relatively positive one, inspired by the capacity demonstrated by women in the exercise of political positions. Also, in certain way, it anticipated the present concepts in gender theory: there is no division between the public and private spaces, because this last one is also public and, therefore, is not unknown to women. |
