Descripció:Gentrification is originated by a regional strategy promoted by international organizations and the mobility of transnational capital for the exchange of tourist services in the 20th century, the repercussions of which began after its implementation with a rebound at the beginning of the 21st century that continues to expand to the present. The above guided the research objective, describing the phenomenon of gentrification in Costa Ballena, the repercussions that impact the social, cultural and environmental spheres, and the causalities that caused it. It was possible to demonstrate the three processes of voluntary and forced displacement as stated in the literature, as well as a series of omissions in compliance with current local and national regulations.
