| Popis: | The aim of this article is to analyze the positioning and linkage of the Partido Vanguardia Popular (PVP) in Costa Rica with the Cuban revolutionary process between 1952 and 1959. In this sense, the article pretends to discuss how this process affected its reading and strategy of action in the national and regional context, in its alliances or distancing from other actors, and in the construction of revolutionary imaginaries in this period. The primary sources used are mainly the communist press, specifically the weekly Trabajo, and the newspaper Adelante. |
