Miêu tả:Trafficking of women is a reality which presence in society is not new; however, the magnitudes reached in the midst of migratory processes make it a topical problem. Las Elegidas (2015) a novel by Jorge Volpi; and Las Elegidas (2015), a film by David Pablos, they broaden this topic. There is an approach to the phenomenon on both representations, so it shows the validity and strength of the patriarchal logic on which gender structures society and promotes the exercise of power, mediated by violence and the domination of men over women. The analysis of both texts allows us to delve which common denominator is always ownership as part of a sphere of control of women's lives.
