Περιγραφή: | Bakhtin?s carnival, hero of gay deceit and framing genres, Anti Arne?s typology of the folktale, and Vladimir Propp?s morphology of the folktale are the main theories employed in this analysis of the anonymous poem Aucassin et Nicolette.
