その他の書誌記述:Henry Gray (1827-1861), was an anatomist and surgeon at Saint George's Hospital in London, England. Gray is notable for the publication of his treatise on Anatomy, Descriptive and Surgical. This text was created in collaboration with Henry Carter, who collaborated with the anatomical dissections and also produced the illustrations in this book. Gray's Anatomy is a precisely illustrated work, which continues to be highly regarded as an authoritative textbook in the field of human anatomy, which has influenced and instructed many medical students for over 160 years. Henry Gray's career was spent at Saint Georges Hospital, from medical student to become professor of anatomy and curator of the hospital's museum. He was a member of the Royal Society and the Royal College of Surgeons. The aim of this paper is to provide a systematic  review of Henry Gray's contributions to the field of human anatomy.
