We can observe how music has been a channel that has allowed religious influence in the country since the arrival of cubanmusical groups into the mainstream of Lima. The popularity of “salsa” in restaurants,night clubs, cuban bars and the creation of temple houses in the city. This article proposesan approach of cuban background in Peru; considering the influence of music as adetermining factor in the popularization of religious traditions as transnational culturalleaks between the people, countries and places. |
