實物特徵:Research reports a lack of alignment between area plans and Ministry of Education guidelines, which limits the ability to adapt educational processes to specific contexts. The article explores the relevance of using territorial knowledge for innovative and flexible curriculum management in certain educational institutions in Antioquia, Colombia, located in the Northeast, Bajo Cauca, Magdalena Medio, and Urabá subregions. Thirty-six educational institutions and 298 teachers and school administrators participated. The research is phenomenological; it is carried out on-site, and data are collected from workshops, diplomas, and interviews with participants. The findings indicate that teachers and school administrators recognize the importance of territorial knowledge for curriculum management and transformation, as well as the difficulties in achieving it. There are diverse perspectives on the curriculum and its flexibility, but they agree that these represent an exchange of knowledge for the benefit of the community. In educational management, achieving curricular flexibility that aligns with the Institutional Educational Project, regional realities, and classroom practices poses challenges; therefore, it is important for school administrators to create institutional conditions -time, space, and guidance- that foster dialogue and collaborative work among teachers.
