| Beschreibung: | The article expose about the meaning and importance of geographical names or toponymy, thus some implications, problems and suggestions for the research to regional and local scale. In addition it emphasizes on the need of standardization for toponymy on the decisions and orders from the official authorities. Therefore the public corporation “Comisión Nacional de Nomenclatura” is taking care of cultural values that surround this thematic. |
