| Beskrivning: | The Southern Regional Extension has developed the "Professor Hiring Guide" to comply with the observations made by the University Comptroller's Office aimed at improving the management processes of hiring professors. Although the University of Costa Rica has had teacher education and training as a university policy, the actions have been developed especially after the hiring process. Therefore, this article describes the experience of elaborating and implementing this instrument or guide, as well as the sections that steer the hiring process in strict compliance with institutional policies and familiarization with the college context where new professors will be advancing professionally before starting the employment relationship. |
