Disgrifiad:“Abril se va” –an example of the new Latin American song- caracterizees an everyday life of San José’s urban life. In this case, the song as literature and lyric text represents through popular images a finisecular situation respresented by caos, insegurity, and inarticulation of modernity in our citys (may be the posmodernity). We propose a song’s reading contextualized in social reality, to visualize how we can recognize this space and find a political critic of status quo in a lyric text.
