| Deskribapena: | This text will analyze how the political-discursive stratagem of “gender ideology,” promoted by anti-rights sectors and groups between 2015 and 2025, became incorporated into the conservative political agenda, impacting authoritarian dynamics in Central American states. The methodology incorporated a documentary review and discourse analysis of key categories of religious fundamentalism, refeudalization, reproductive reconquest, and de-democratization. The text characterizes the actors, discourses, and disputes surrounding the rise of confessional political projects that undermine the concepts of the rule of law, secularism, political alternation, and the separation of powers. In the project of authoritarian confessional states, the presence of political dissidents and gender, racial, and sexual alterities has no social space, political place, or territory to exist. |
