Disgrifiad:This paper focuses on a short history of Humanism and its origin and development and its principal representatives in Ancient World, the Middle Age until the Renaissance. He also outlines the term "Humanism" and the creators. Italy is the country to which he pays the most attention, given that here is Rome with Latin language anf Florence, where are to be found de first humanists in the Renaissance period. He only names some humanists, among them, Scipio Aemilianus, Publius Terentius Afer, Marcus Tullius Cicero, Francesco Petrarca and Lorenzo Valla. The importance of ancient Greek culture for Humanism is underlined too. At the end, the reader is invited to reflect on and to live Humanism, given that, it is the most important to each one of human beings.
