Description:This article considers the conflicts among peasants regarding the utilization ofnatural resources, such as forest and wood in Península de Osa, located in SouthPacific coast of Costa Rica. Different points of view of the social and politicalactors, such as peasants, governmental institutions and non profit organizationshas been studied.As main conclusion is worth mentioning that the conflict will not come to anend if the local actors as well as some national and international ones don t tryto get basic agreements looking for socio- economics and environmentalstrategies to solve problems and essential needs of the people.
