Description:This article presents the psychogenetic theory applied in the discipline of Orientation. The objective is to analyze the guiding practice from the psychogenetic approach of Jean Piaget. The methodology consists of the systematization by means of the recovery of the learning experiences, observed in the sessions of a vocational orientation process with preschool girls and boys. One of the most important arrival points is that, from this discipline, the construction and reconstruction of knowledge is facilitated through meaningful learning, which is organized in order to promote, in this context, the vocational, cognitive and socio-affective development of the child population.
