| Descrizione: | Through the following paper I intend to show that The Nights of Labor, written by Jacques Rancière, is a genealogy about the riots of Paris in 1833. I believe that by showing this it can be occur a double alteration. First, regarding the way of perceiving the landscape of the nascent labor movements of Paris at that time; second, about what is thought as philosophy and historiography. For this in a first part I will talk about the birth of The Nights of Labor and the need for another language for writing. In a second part, I will show how Rancière’s work is a genealogical exercise. Finally, I’ll outline some brief considerations regarding some disciplinary discourses. |
