Description:This text analyzes the emergence, composition and government logic of the post-neoliberal right-wing forces that governed Guatemala between 2016 and 2024 through the FCN-N and VAMOS parties. From a socio-historical perspective, it suggests that the post-neoliberal rights abandoned the 'logic of politics' and generalized –through state control– a “logic of war” that implies the extension of the practice of criminalization used against socio-environmental protest to other areas of social conflict. In the tour, the novelty of these political forces is identified by analyzing the problematic link that the Guatemalan right maintained with democracy in recent history.
