Description:The cultural commons have been subjected to a metabolic fracture due to their process of transformation, therefore, the coexistence with the commons is being fragmented, privileging the value of change over the values of use for the accumulation. The objective of this article is to develop a theoretical model that allows explaining the process of transformation of cultural commons. The approach of this article adheres two theoretical elements: socio-ecological metabolism and domination strategies, which allow the analysis of the reconfiguration of cultural commons.
