| Descripció: | This article discusses the origin and development of Political Science in Costa Rica. First, it refers to its origin, in 1848, in the School of Law and the School of Political Science at Universidad de Santo Tomás and then, to the present School of Political Science at Universidad de Costa Rica. Next, this article presents several epistemological assumptions and philosophical principles that guided the development of political science during the last thirty-five years. |
