Description:This paper exposes an analysis for tailor´s; their occupational trajectories during 1950-1972 in Esparza and Puntarenas cantons. Life histories is the methodology´s name been used. This academic product makes out and problematizes those behavioral dynamics focused on the occupational group mentioned; tailors, and its economical labored world inserted in the cantons already mentioned and the global labored relation. It is based on primary sources, most specifically interviews. Those interviews were applied to tailors in the region in matter during 2016, with the intention to recreate dynamics and trajectories for hand workers such as artisans in the second half of the 20th century all around the villages, small town conceptualized in this paper as Costa Rican peripheries. The purpose of this paper is to integrate these peripheral artisans’ groups, to a broader vision of other studies carried out on artisans in Costa Rica's Central Valley, from a comparative perspective.
