Exploration of scientific productions about disability during COVID 19: Advances and challenges in accessibility, employment and education

Disgrifiad:Introduction: This article is part of an investigative process currently registered with the School of Social Work and is in the process of execution. It analyzes the scientific academic production in disability, identifying the research trends in disability between 2019 and 2023, to promote various research in that area of study. Objective: To analyse research trends in interdisciplinary disability studies, both at the national and international levels, with a view to the production of knowledge and with it, claiming the rights of persons with disabilities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic o SARS-CoV-2. Method: The research is qualitative type, with an epistemological approach oriented to hermeneutics and emancipation, uses Grounded Theory for the analysis of information through documentary review. Results: In the pandemic period as an opportunity for the rise of academic productions, a preference is evident in this regard, in terms of the publication modality, led by a greater production of scientific articles as opposed to other modalities.   [Continue reading in the article]
