| Popis: | The purpose of this article is to analyze (neo)gothic elements in the representation of landscape in the novel Los susurros de Perseo, by Costarrican writer José Ricardo Chaves. Based on textual examples, I will try to demonstrate how some (neo)gothic features in the representation of landscape are resignified and treated from an ironical distance. Landscape is used to criticize very important problems as xenophobia and homophobia. |
