| Disgrifiad: | The present essay aims to develop a theoretical–technical articulation of mediation in clinical work with groups from the perspective of French psychoanalysis, starting from a position defined negatively by the refusal of interpretation as the central technique in the field of group psychoanalysis. This stance opens a discussion concerning technique, which constitutes the object of articulation in the present work. To this end, a brief contextualization of French psychoanalysis in relation to groups and mediations is presented. Subsequently, certain theoretical conceptions and technical considerations regarding mediation in group work are developed, allowing us to affirm the conception of the group as a space endowed with a specific psychic reality; to highlight the role of mediating objects in processes of symbolization; and to situate mediations within the domain of managements (manejos), with particular attention to the meaning-producing effects of non-interpretative interventions. Although we recognize that there remain aspects requiring further development and articulation with other theoretical contributions, the trajectory presented here enables us to outline, with a certain degree of metapsychological density, some of the processes set in motion through the use of mediating objects in the field of group psychoanalysis. |
