| Beskrivelse: | The monogeneric family Hymenophyllopsidaceae has, since its discovery, remained uncorrelated within the Filicales, although affinities to the Hymenophyllaceac and Cyatheaceae have been suggested. The genus Hymenophyllopsis Goebel is endemic to the Guyana's "table-mountains", from where a new species is here described. |
