| Descrizione: | The author identifies current lexicon used by ninth graders from the Instituto de Educación Integral, Las Nubes, Coronado, Costa Rica, during the 2009 academic period that refer to homosexuals. The purpose is to determine the frequency of usage, communicative situations, and semantic nature of these words according to the constructivist conceptualization of this closed social grid (adolescents). From this data, the ideological level of acceptance and rejection of these young people towards the homosexual community in general will be analyzed. Finally, criteria and recommendations will be given to teachers for use and discussion about the implementation of these words in the classroom. |
