Deskribapena:  Introduction: Community organization constitutes a fundamental element in the development of collective processes aimed at improving living conditions. Within this framework, Community-Based Rural Tourism (CBRT) and Disaster Risk Management (DRM) require organizational capacities that foster participation, collaboration, and the mobilization of community resources to strengthen these processes. Objective: To analyze the relationship between strengthening community organization and enhancing Community-Based Rural Tourism and Disaster Risk Management processes in the community of Mollejones. Methods and Techniques: An interpretive study was conducted using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach and a gender perspective. Interviews, workshops, and field diaries were used as data generation techniques, complemented by implications analysis and content analysis. Results: The findings indicate that the community has a solid organizational foundation; however, it faces challenges associated with tensions between solidarity and individualism, as well as limited shared responsibility in community work. Strengthening community organization made it possible to recognize and enhance the relationship between CBRT and DRM through collaborative work, capacity building and strengthening, the mobilization of resources, and human development. Conclusions: Community organization is intricately linked to CBRT and DRM processes. Strengthening community organization contributes to enhancing collective capacities and resources, as well as promoting community processes aimed at improving living conditions in accordance with the population's needs and territorial characteristics.
