Health care strategies that have been useful in preventing nosocomial infections in hospitalized neonates

תיאור:Infections associated with health care (IAAS), also known as nosocomial infections, are infections acquired during medical or surgical treatment in a health care center and can affect any type of person, nevertheless, infants hospitalized in the units of intensive care are more susceptible to acquiring them because they have risk factors that make them more vulnerable to contracting them, such as prematurity, low birth weight, immaturity of the immune system, prolonged mechanical ventilation, placement of central and urinary catheters, late onset of breastfeeding due to congenital problems, invasive procedures, among others. The objective of Analyze the best scientific evidence available regarding the health care strategies that have been useful and apply to infants hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit for the prevention of nosocomial infections, 2018. The suggested steps are applied to the brief review (Evidence-Based Clinical Practice) that begins with the presentation of the clinical question, and then search for information, critical analysis, transfer and evaluation.
